Out of the Ether - Ep 4Shaun returned to his home plane to find it nearly deserted. The crowd that had been gathered around the fountain had long since dissipated. By the looks of things, the majority of the people left were the full-timers who had nowhere else to go. Almost everyone was holed up in the living complex a little ways off from the fountain.   
On the street, there was no one but himself and the two scryers. A few of the braver souls peered out from third and fourth story windows as Shaun approached, but he wasn’t about to get a greeting party.

Out of the Ether - Ep. 3The last few hours had been hard on Shaun. The otherworld’s initial reaction to the hexenwulf had been to raise an angry mob, complete with torches and pitchforks. They wanted to chase down the monster with silver and belladonna before it could cause any more damage, and it had taken everything Shaun had to convince them not to send out a hunting party that very instant.   
The fact that the hexenwulf was one of his closest friends didn’t seem to matter much to the outraged onlookers, but they were all slow to put their lives on the line to rescue the rest of humanity. Once they all realized that they might actually get hurt galliva Out of the Ether - Ep. 3

Out of the Ether - Ep. 2The physical world flew away from Shaun in a rush of fluid motion. Every one of his senses lit up simultaneously. His vision went white, his ears rang, and his whole body ached as if it were being squeezed in a clamp. The sensations continued for what seemed like ages. Shaun’s world became nothing but white noise, stretched out endlessly.  
 
Somehow he managed to get in a ragged breath, and the pain began to subside. The white noise receded, replaced by subtle green and brown blurs. The ringing in his ears shifted pitch, twittering about like a madman playing an ill-tuned flute. He could feel something soft and yielding underneath Out of the Ether - Ep. 2

Head GamesIsaac paced, letting his feet wander about the kitchen as they would while his mind worked on more important matters. Saying he was nervous would have been an understatement. He’d just broken the law. Normally the notion would never have crossed his mind, and he was far too skittish a person to let someone convince him of any drastic action easily. Isaac was well aware of the consequences of theft, and as he paced several scenarios played out in his head, each ending with him rotting in a cell for the rest of his life or sitting an electric chair as an apathetic jailer flipped the switch.

DarianDarian lay back on one of the highest branch of his favorite oak, enjoying the warm summer air and watching specks of dust float lazily towards the ground, illuminated by the shafts of late afternoon sunlight that broke through the taller trees. Werewolf of ChelseaPart 1   I didn’t think it would end this way.  Beaten and torn like a rag doll I looked upon my soon to be murderers in fear.  I never thought werewolves were real, always thought they had been mere, fictitious creature that existed in stories and legends.  One of them trotted towards me as my eyes aligned with its gaze.  I quickly looked away, remembering the mistake I had made earlier when I was trying to get away from them.   Lilly, it’s all because of her.  Meeting her seemed great at the time.  Her deep blue eyes looked softly at me and it made me shutter in Werewolf of Chelsea

An Obligatory Notice

First off, I'd like to say that my projected publishing revenue has just about quintupled. Dracwyn, no one in their right mind would pay $20 to read something I wrote! :P That being said, I'm not against donations.
Okay, so it's been a while ...

What?

...

Don't look at me like that, I was only gone for almost a year! I had ... stuff ... yaknow?

No, sadly the point is that I just haven't been writing. Thankfully with the appropriate amount of forlorn pestering, physical prodding, and some annoying jackass who won't leave me alone with the proofreading of strange fiction inspired mostly by Classical Russian Literature, I've been driven to write again.

'Inspired' of course meaning that I've run my own nerves up by not actually writing anything in my head down, and thusly I'm at the point where I'm faced with either picking up a pen again or going insane (again).

While they're both appealing options, it is slightly more convinent at this time for me to try and pick up writing again. So this journal entry is a form of electronic contract. I will get my ass back on dA, finish writing what I've got left of "Out of the Ether", then let my plotting take its course at least until I finish OMNMITAOM. I will NOT however, promise to finish that S&D skit for the same reasons that I stopped writing it in the first place.

I might do a later, better S&D skit, but let me finish Ether first, alright?

*sigh* I wish you had at least told me how the story ended before you logged off never to log back on. All I can hope for is that you'll one day finish writing it and get it published and I'll be wandering through the bookstore and find it randomly and buy it and it makes me happy and that will presumably make you happy too considering you'll be $20 richer.

While Out of Ether has turned into an amusing piece, I would greatly appreciate it if you picked back up and finished the S&D&R piece from your old account.
